Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media, The Craic Den will deliver you a medicinal dose of laughs all evening long. New line up every week!

David McSavage

David McSavage is a self proclaimed national treasure. It has been said he is to comedy what the Abbey is to theatre. Maybe because he believes he’s more important than he is, or that the majority of the country doesn’t care about him.

But unlike the Abbey Theatre, Davids best days aren’t behind him, his intention is for you the audience member to feel “wow that was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen, it was so original, courageous, and yet very flawed. I would really like to be his friend”

A regular guest on TV and radio shows in Ireland for many years, David has also appeared at all the major comedy festivals including the Edinburgh Festival and internationally in Australia, Germany, Japan and Scandinavia. As an actor, this year he features in the film Calvary by John Michael McDonagh starring Brendan Gleeson. His other recent film roles in Traders, Gold and Our Robot Overlords.

The Savage Eye (RTÉ), has been critically acclaimed was nominated for an IFTA award for Best Entertainment Series and Best Director.

Gar Murran

Gar Murran won The Bulmers Comedy Competition and was a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny. Since then he has performed at all of the UK’s best clubs including The Hyena, The Glee Clubs, Jongleurs, Amused Moose, Funhouse Comedy Club. He is a regular MC/performer at Ireland’s biggest comedy club The Laughter Lounge & The International Bar, Comedy Cellar, Roisin Dubh and of course the Craic Den. Gar has also performed at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, The Cork Comedy Festival & The Leeds Festival.

Robbie Bonham

Earning the title of 98 FM’s ‘Dublin’s Best Comedian’, Robbie is one of Dublin’s true comedy gems. Headling the Empire in Belfast, Laughter Lounge, Craichouse in Cork as well as numerous guest appearances on Spin FM, 98 FM, and Newstalk FM and has now just grown his very own beard!

Eddie Mullarkey

Laughter is the best medicine and Eddie is an established healer at all of Ireland’s major comedy clubs and festivals. Eddie has toured internationally and has just finished a sell out run at the Edinburgh Fringe with his show ‘An Irish Solution to an Irish Problem’.

In 2018 he came runner-up in the national comedy competition ‘Show Me The Funny’. Eddie has a cheeky and seductive wit – he very much looks forward to curing your ailments.

“Mullarkey has a warmth in his eyes that gives away his compassionate wit.” Mumble
