This was one of the best intimate comedy nights I've ever been to. The acts were amazing, the host got everyone involved and it was just absolute craic. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good laugh and to do something a little different!
The Mc is very funny. Gar Murran was not recommended: no own material, just annoying crowdwork. Great experience though and the rest of the comedians were great!

Brilliant fun!! Absolutely hilarious acts (especially the one in the photos!) and really nice that it didn’t have a ‘stag and hen’ vibe.It’s a great little venue and what’s even more brilliant is you come out into a great pub with another great vibe. Felt more ‘locally’ and not so commercial.We were only in Dublin 2 nights and it was that good that if they’d had different acts on the next night, we would have gone back again.Thank you so much for all the laughs!

Visiting Dublin for a wedding and decided to spend an evening at Craic Den Comedy Club. We had an amazing time!!!!
Possibly the most fun I had in Ireland was at this comedy club. We happened upon in purely by chance and are so glad we went. Tickets were reasonably priced, the show was funny and entertaining and the atmosphere was great. The venue is small but it makes for a fun show. Would absolutely go again if I ever find myself in Dublin again.
Spontaneously went there while staying in Dublin last month. It was my first time ever attending a comedy show, so I didn't know what to expect and I have to say I was having a blast. All the acts - and the host - were brilliant. Great place, great atmosphere. Will definitely visit again the next time around.

It was a great night. Small, tight comedy club with several performers. Eddie the host is fantastic (in my opinion he was the best of them all). The place has a cool vibe, definitely will be back if we come back to Dublin. Highly recommend!

My first time attending, the acts were great at engaging everybody! I enjoyed all acts and the way it was scheduled was engaging. Earlier acts seem newer but still obviously picked by the organisers as up and coming (was laughing throughout). Host is good at bridging! Overall enjoyed but beware you may be picked on (chuck someone into the limelight!)

The whole thing was very well ran. Love how they frequently interact with the crowd and they're not afraid to tell a few controversial jokes which is always appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

If you have no definite plan and you need to laugh..definitely definitely head out to Craic Dens..where the craic is real.. it's ideal for everything, small enough to be cosy with the Mrs and loud enough to be funny with the boys... my favourite acts is always the host Damien.. anyways, heading back in now..Did I mention its in workman's club so drinks and entertainment are not even a problem.. plus getting a bus or taxi outside is so easy , just like snapping your fingers like in the Hollywood movies..Just a bit of craic, im funny too😏

Awesome evening at Craig Den Comedy Club! We literally made up our mind half an hour before, looked up for a stand up show nearby and got our ticket at the door. 4 comedians and a great host entertained a packed room for a two hour show. If your re up for some fun in Dublin, don’t hesitate, they open 7 days a week 🙂

My last night in Dublin I came across a young gentleman who gave me a flyer. Best spontainious choise ever. The place is very cosy and the lineup was exceptional! If you are into standup comedy and you are in Dublin for any reason, you just must go.

Loads of craic to be had here for a tiny €12 per head. First visit tonight, the 3 comedians were great, Eddie the MC was on point warming up the audience and keeping it going between acts. Highly recommended for a fun night out. We will be back!
Booked the 7.30pm Saturday showing and had a great laugh across the 5 comedians. Arrive early to get good seats or you may end up split across the room.
Intimate venue but can be very packed and crowded. Can be cold on arrival but warms up over time with the crowds.Reasonably priced, not the cheapest nor the most expensive.Comics were mixed, some good. Liked the quick turnaround for the comics. 10-15 minutes each which was good. MC on the night was funny and kept crowd engaged and the show on time.
This is a cozy comedy club which seats over 50 people. It is performed in a side room within The Workmans Club.Note: The Craic Den rooms serve NO Food or Drinks, thus they have no minimum item ordering requirements like in the USA. You can bring drinks into the comedy club section.If you want a drink, the best option is one of the Workmans Club bars, which is right across the hall. They serve beer, ciders, spirits & mixed drinks, plus nonalcoholic options. Oh yeah, they pour one wine - a Cabernet Sauvignon.

I came across the club by a young man handing out cards. I am travelling in Dublin on my own and it seemed like a bit of fun to try on my first night.The venue is small and intimate but they managed to squeeze a bunch of us it. Drinks could be ordered before hand and there is a short intermission.There was one host and four comics and I enjoyed all of them. Ed Malarky was the host. Loved his crowd work which should have been difficult given the material provided but he grew it into very funny exchanges. Damo Clark, Robbie Wild, Madeline Mumford, and Paul Marsh were all super funny. I had to wipe tears from my eyes all through the night.I was very glad I popped into the show! It was so much fun and the perfect thing for someone travelling alone to do.
Seriously, everyone. Go support your local comedy scene…especially when it’s as good as the Craic Den.

If hope had a colour, most would suspect it to a bright white light that glowed with divine origin. Something that is easy to spot at the end of the dark tunnel. For Ireland however, those colours are a neon green and purple that radiate themselves from the Craic Den Comedy Club logo, found at the centre of the stage.For a while, Covid had ravaged Ireland, its culture and its arts, creating a tunnel so dark and dreadful that you'd think the only form of light you would end up seeing at the end of said tunnel; is another train furiously speeding towards you. All art forms deteriorated and the people became tepid.That was the reality of entertainment in the country for a while and it was so bad that we thought that's how it will be from now on until The Craic Den boldly emerged in the city's centre. The comedy club now acts like a church, healing all those with a mundane misery bred inside them, with the simple reminder; you're allowed to have fun.The acts are unique and star-spangled while the hosts, Eddie Mullarkey and Damo Clarke, never fail to deliver. There is a sense of professionalism and adoration for the craft, all wrapped in a platter of quick-witted banter and play. Your bellies will be full up of laughs and that itch of feeling something other than the stress of your 9-5, will have been scratched. It's all apparent when you see the people leaving the comedy club at the end of the night, they always want more.Highly recommend.

It is a great place and atmosphere! I didn't know what to expect when visiting, but it exceeded our expectations. I would recommend seeing a show there at least once🥳 place is relatively tiny, so it feels warm and cosy. We loved it!You will have a chance to grab a drink at the bar, so you will not feel empty-handed for sure!

This was my first comedy club experience outside of the states and it exceeded expectations. The host and comics were hilarious!! I went on a Thursday night with a few friends and it was a sold out show. Great atmosphere highly recommend to any comedy fans visiting the area.

A friend recommended this comedy club to me and it was a really entertaining night out, and great value for money too.I was a bit hesitant to go to a comedy night because after years of attending comedy gigs I got tired of the same old bro-y, hetero-normative, all-male-and-one-token-female lineups that are everywhere these days, but it was really refreshing to see two women and a queer man on the lineup. Good onya to Damo for running a diverse and very very funny comedy room, keep up the great work!
The host was one of the funniest and pleasent people i've met so far. The acts were also very funny. Please be proactive so the comedians have material to work with. it makes the whole experience more fun.

Really great night out, the standard was probably the best I've seen from a stand up night in Ireland, the lineup ranged from decent to fantastic. Really brilliant crowd work off the MC. Had discovered one comedian this morning while hungover in bed and ended up watching an hour's worth of Instagram reels of their content, and by pure coincidence he was performing tonight, and was just as good in person. Definitely will be coming back.

Visiting from the USA and had an incredible time at the Craic Den! Made some friends, celebrated our anniversary, and watched an AMAZING set. Highly recommend, especially if you're just here to visit. You get much more than your money's worth.

I've been coming here regularly for a few years now. As always with comedy it's hit or miss, but regardless of the lineup I've always had a fantastic time and I will keep coming back here regularly. A great time and great value!

Had a bit of laugh (just kidding a big laugh). Extremely engaging and great comedians the whole way through. An intimate crowd which it meant it was 100x more engaging. A must when visiting Dublin, you couldn’t script the craic. Also …. Go the all blacks!!!

First time in Ireland of course I gotta go to a Comedy show. Loved it some parts were lost to me not being a Native or maybe it was the drinks. Either way the comics were hilarious on a scale of 1-10 id say its not too bad.
I have been to the Craig Den Comedy Club a couple of time while staying in Dublin for a few weeks. It Always has been great...the Performers are very divers, they engage nicely with the crowd and their humor and jokes are always smart and entertaining. Definitely worth going there...

Well worth the money, something great to have on mid week because there's not much!Last nights show was a bit of a mix, host was brilliant and the final comedian on had our faces hurting from laughter love a bit of dark edgy humour which he hit more than the others, his part on cancel culture was brilliant and so true so major respect there, the other two weren't great but that could have been just the wrong audience for their type of jokes!Thanks guys, will be back for sure!
Great source of entertainment for the price you pay. I was visiting for a week in Dublin and was able to enjoy one of the shows. The night I was there they had 5 comedians. I’d say 3 of the 5 were enjoyable and two were cringe worthy. Either way you’ll get your money worth and have a good time. Bathrooms are…. Not great. Plan on finding one before you arrive. That’s more on the bar though than the comedy club.
Have been to the Craic Den a few times and have never been disappointed! The staff and comedians are so friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The comedians are always excellent, with great pieces to leave you belly laughing. Great seeing a mixture of people performing. Also love the intimate setting, really makes a great night!
Brilliant, provocative, tearing rolling down my cheeks kinda funny. One of the best stand ups I’ve been and not at all corny. Will definitely come back again!
The venue is fine and the Aussie compare was funny. But to be honest the four comics just weren't great at all. The watching of their watches made us feel they were just there for their money. We spent our time watching our clocks waiting for the funny bit. Come on Dublin I've heard funnier guys at the bar. Could do so much better. Disappointing overall.

What a show! The host himself was hilarious, and all the comedians were truly amazing: Involving the crowd on a genius way, making us all feel like attending a private party with old friends. A shabby shack, but the atmosphere! 15€ is a robbery - from the club and their comedians!A gem!

A good night out with 3 funny comedians and a very capable compare in Ed Mularky. Shame the audience were immature and tried to wrong-foot the acts, but as seasoned pros they handled the heckles well. A good night out and great value for money- would definitely try to see comedy again when in Dublin!
First time at a comedy show and it was unreal. I never stopped laughing, the entire environment was so friendly and would 100% recommend everyone to go to at least one of these shows. Damo is a top class host and on the way to tell everyone i know how good this place was , just go.

Set in The Workman's club, is the perfect intimate venue to see and hear real Irish comedy. We laughed from start to finish. Host (Damo) was great, got the room going and kept the comics going. Totally be back again.
