FRIDAY 2ND MAY

Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, the Craic Den will deliver you the gift of festive laughs all evening long.

Al Porter

There aren’t many Irish comedians that are more controversial than Al Porter. The comedian, actor, pantomime star, writer and radio broadcaster shot to stardom with his hilarious and outrageous stage presence.

By the time he was 22 he sold out the infamous Dublin comedy venue Vicar Street for 3 nights, which no comedian at the time had done that young and that fast.

Porter is currently working again as a comedian after a six year hiatus following allegations of sexual assault. Speaking openly about his drink and drug fuelled 20s to press and onstage with his new sober outlook on life. His new tour show is selling out all over the country and features this week in the Craic Den.

Hector Ayala

Héctor Ayala is a Mexican Stand-Up Comedian from the Barcelona English & Spanish speaking scene, who quickly grew to become one of the local favorites with his highly-energetic, charismatic storytelling and quick-witted crowd work.

Aside from previously producing and organizing showcases in Barcelona, he has performed across different European countries such as Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico, amongst others. He regularly hosts several shows around Barcelona, and has had the privilege of sharing stage with stars such as Louis CK, Preacher Lawson & has Opened for the superstar Michelle Wolf, and Irish Icon Kyla Cobbler.

Aideen McQueen

Aideen McQueen is one of the brightest sparks in the new generation of Irish comics. She’s sassy, saucy and side-splittingly funny.

Aideen appears regularly on RTE, TG4, BBC Northern Ireland and BBC Radio 4. She is one of the resident comperes at the world famous International Comedy Club in Dublin and has appeared alongside Sean Hughes, Reginald D Hunter, Ardal O’ Hanon, Dylan Moran, Johnny Vegas, Phil Kay and Frankie Boyle.

She has performed at many festivals including The Vodafone Comedy Festival, The Electric Picnic Festival and Prague Comedy Festival.

Eddie Mullarkey

Eddie Mullarkey is a standout comic, lighting up Ireland’s top comedy clubs and festivals with his cheeky, seductive wit. He’s toured internationally, and had three years in a row of sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe (2021-2024).

As the resident MC at Dublin’s popular The Craic Den, Eddie also hosted The Craic Den Comedy TV Show on Virgin Media for two seasons.

With a mix of observational stand up, crowd work, and storytelling, every one of his shows is a unique experience.
