Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every day in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, the Craic Den will deliver laughs all evening long.
Julie Jay
Julie Jay is a comedian, writer and podcaster who has been taking the Irish comedy scene by storm, supporting the likes of Neil Delamere, Ardal O’Hanlon, Des Bishop, Flo and Joan and most recently been resident support act for Tommy Tiernan on his Paddy Crazy Horse Tour.
She has performed at Edinburgh Fringe, Electric Picnic, Altogether Now, Vodafone Comedy Festival and on BBC Radio. In 2019 she MCed the much acclaimed Tommy Tiernan Show and is an RTE and Virgin Media regular. Former host of Up to 90 and Crimeland, Julie currently co-hosts comedy podcast Trapped With Fred and Julie alongside her husband Fred Cooke
A frequent contributor to the Irish Independent, Julie has a weekly parenting column with The Irish Examiner and has also written for The Irish Times

Shane Clifford
Shane Clifford is a comedian from Tralee, Co Kerry. Shane made his stand-up debut at the age of 30, having already been popular online making funny, sometimes strange videos under his alias ‘Brilliant Shane’.
He has since appeared all around the country including venues like Whelans, The Cork Comedy Festival and The Everyman in Cork plus winning the JOE.ie Rising Star Award.

Ashlee Bentley
Described by many as one of the most talented and original up and coming young comedians in Ireland today, Ashlee’s unique blend of quirky humour, sharp writing and brutally honest yet hilarious personal tales have left audience members in tears all over Ireland and beyond. Most of them were crying with laughter but we can’t be sure about all of them.Â
Ashlee is a crowned winner of the Show Me The Funny Competition and won the Ireland Regional Final of Funny Women. Recently Ashlee has performed on Virgin Media TV on The Craic Den Comedy Club TV show and performed at Iveagh Gardens Comedy Festival. Ashlee likes long walks on the beach and will not rest until she has petted all of the cats.
Chris Watts
One of Ireland’s most promising young comedians, Chris started his comedy career in 2021 and has already performed in iconic Irish venues, including RóisÃn Dubh and Workman’s Club; won the coveted Toilet Duck Award at TedFest 2023; worked with Karl Spain, Danny O’Brien and Deirdre O’Kane.

Eddie Mullarkey is a standout comic, lighting up Ireland’s top comedy clubs and festivals with his cheeky, seductive wit. He’s toured internationally, and had three years in a row of sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe (2021-2024).
As the resident MC at Dublin’s popular The Craic Den, Eddie also hosted The Craic Den Comedy TV Show on Virgin Media for two seasons.Â
With a mix of observational stand up, crowd work, and storytelling, every one of his shows is a unique experience.
