Comedian & Presenter Edwin Sammon, is an Offaly native and has established himself as one of the most popular comedians in the country over the last few years, his unpredictable and crowd pleasing style saw him win the Tedfest Golden Toilet Duck award in 2011 and led to him supporting the likes of Jason Byrne, Phil Jupitus and Ardal O’Hanlon while performing at major festivals and comedy clubs across Ireland and the U.K.
Comedian & Presenter Edwin, later went on to appear on RTE’s New Comedy Awards and in 2013 he was part of the sold out nationwide “Lads Of Comedy ” tour. Edwin has also starred as Fr. Gabriel in RTE’s latest sitcom ” Bridget and Eamon ” and has been touring his first stand up special “Edwin Sammon vs Cancer ” while taking over the news desk on Republic Of Telly.
“Sharply Written, Brilliantly Performed.” Totally Dublin
“Edwin Sammon was the find of the night…deploying some perfectly described imagery…which should offer something for everyone”. Chortle
Danny Ward’s observational humour is up-beat and well honed, and his easy-going style both endearing and very funny. One of the new breed of comics with a high energy set not reliant on smut or swearing, Danny has since established himself as comic to watch.
“If there is better stand-up elsewhere for free then I want to know about it, because it really would have to be world class to top this show. Danny Ward’s observational humour is brilliantly delivered … This is top quality stand up that should have filled the venue twice over. I implore you to go and see it!” Three Weeks
“Danny Ward clicked with the capacity crowd immediately and his brilliantly-timed, slightly manic approach was bolstered by some really tight, strong material. His often hilarious riffs on everyday shopping at discount stores created a thread that worked brilliantly throughout, with a killer ending”. Bournemouth Echo
Co.Down born Richie has quickly become a staple of the Irish comedy scene as the resident host of Cherry Comedy at Dublin’s iconic Whelan’s venue. Richie went to Edinburgh for the semi-final of the UK’s biggest and best comedy newcomer competition ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ and won the first ever ‘Ireland’s got Comedy Talent’ competition in Ireland’s premier comedy venue the Laughter Lounge.
