Craic Den Comedy Club brings you the best International comedians for this worldly takeover special. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media, The Craic Den will take us on a trip around the globe and hear the hilarious view of life in Ireland as an outsider. A night of laughs celebrating our similarities and differences!

Lesly Martinez (Venezuela)

Lesly Martínez, born in Venezuela, is currently grappling with the Irish citizenship process and bureaucratic hurdles. How does Lesly make this into standup? With great ease!

Nghia Mai (Vietnam)

Based in Ireland since 2018, Ho Chi Minh City native Nghia Mai is making a name for himself in the Dublin comedy scene. Regular host of ‘Comedians Without Borders’ in Sine and part of the Xin Chao Homie podcast which has two series, Nghia was asked by an Irish production company to film a documentary about his comedy life in Ireland, which aired nationally in 2022.

Malinda Perera (Sri Lanka)

Malinda Perera is a Sri Lankan comedian currently based in Dublin, who started doing stand-up comedy in Vienna, Austria and rose to success in a very short period. Having lived in Sri Lanka and Malaysia, he decided to move to Austria to do his masters degree in Business Informatics. In 2019, while he was a researcher at university, Malinda made a rapid career change by becoming a full-time comedian. In 2021, to push his stand-up comedy career even further, Malinda moved to Dublin, Ireland. His debut solo special “Not A Drug Dealer” was performed in 50 cities in 24 countries and had a sold out run in 2022. Malinda was also featured on RTÉ’s hit sketch comedy series “No Worries If Not”.

Tiny James (Nigeria)

Hailing from Africa, Tiny James is an actor and a stand up comic. Tiny James has perform stand up comedy in places such as Vicar St. with Des Bishop, Ha’Penny Bridge Inn bar, International Bar, appeared in two of PJ Gallagher’s stand up specials. In 2023 he was co-lead in the Irish film ‘Licence For Nil’.

Madeleine Munford (USA)

New York born Madeleine is an actress and comedian located in Dublin with a strong background in production and writing. Her dry sense of humour and hilarious stories have been captivating Irish audiences since touching down on these shores just last year!

Dhruv Gandhi (India)

Dhruv recently started his comedy journey and talks about what is common between India and Ireland. He also defends Indian stereotypes passionately.

Kat O’Hanlon (USA)

Kat has performed all across the US and Ireland, developing her own unique style. Now living in rural Ireland, her material has grown exponentially.

Neil Greene (South Africa)

A prolific comedy writer, Neil literally has “jokes for days.” His sharp wit, commanding stage presence, and hilariously honest brand of comedy have won him legions of fans throughout Durban and beyond. Green debuted his highly successful One-Man Comedy Show (“I’m Ill!”) at Durban’s Bat Centre in 2012 and has been on the rise ever since.

Eddie Mullarkey (Ireland)

Eddie is an established comic at all of Ireland’s major comedy clubs and festivals. Known for his cheeky and seductive wit, Eddie has toured internationally and his last two solo shows received two full sell-out runs at the 2021 & 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.

Jim Elliott (USA)

American Jim Elliott has established himself as a firm favourite on the Irish comedy circuit, with regular headlining spots at clubs and appearances at all the major comedy festivals such as Kilkenny Cat Laughs, Vodafone Comedy Festival and Longitude. Jim featured in the Craic Den TV Show and was garnered with rave reviews.

Damo Clark (Australia)

Ireland’s adopted Aussie Damo Clark has become one of the hottest tickets in comedy clubs and festivals. Winner of the People’s Choice Award at the Edinburgh Fringe, his last solo show toured all over Ireland, the UK, Europe and Australia plus guest spots in the US.

Clark has featured in Comedy Central’s Damo Does Edinburgh, Irish TV’s Republic of Telly, I Dare Ya, Comedy Central’s Seann Walsh World and wrote and co-starred in Virgin Media’s Craic Den Comedy Club TV series.
