Biography

One of Ireland’s favorite comedians, Deirdre O'Kane is celebrated for her acclaimed live stand-up. A six-time IFTA nominee, she won Best Lead Actress (Film) in 2015 for her role in Noble. Her significant television presence includes hosting the IFTA Film & Drama Awards, reaching the finals of Dancing with the Stars, and being the voice of Gogglebox. She has also starred in the US sitcom Younger and in three series of Moone Boy, which earned her an IFTA nomination. Critics describe O'Kane as an "instantly charismatic stage presence" who "dazzles the audience from start to finish"
