Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and with millions of views across social media, the Craic Den delivers a seriously good night of live comedy from start to finish.
Secret Special Guest!
Karl Spain
Karl Spain has long been established as one of Ireland’s most popular comedians, from his own tours and touring with others, and has appeared at festivals all over the world. Karl has worked with some of the world’s greatest comedians ( his peers ahem, cough).
Karl has spent most of 2022 touring with Kevin Bridges because Kevin finds him very funny – or because Kevin uses Karl to remind him to keep the weight off. Hopefully the former.
Karl has written for lots of comedians over the last decade or so, so you have been laughing at his jokes even when you didn’t realise it. But he has kept all the best jokes for himself.
Anne Gildea
Making a show of herself since 1989.
Anne is a Dublin-based comedian. Her new show, Further Adventures in Womaning is currently touring. It is a follow up in laughter and spirit to her comedy hit How to Get The Menopause and Enjoy It which toured for three years, enjoying super critical and audience response.
Now in it’s second year, Further Adventures in Womaning continues to wow, audience and critics alike. Previously, Anne was a founding member of Ireland’s top shiny-dressed, musical-comedy girl-trio The Nualas, who toured everywhere from Singapore to Moate (1995-2018).
Anne started out in comedy in London in the late 80s, she hopes to continue doing comedy into her late 80s.
Plus your MC Eddie Mullarkey
Galway-born comedian Eddie Mullarkey has brought his sharp wit and charm to stages across the globe. A regular in Ireland’s top comedy clubs, Eddie is known for his quick-fire storytelling and easy charisma.
He created, produced, and hosted The Craic Den Comedy Club — a hit stand-up TV show that ran for two seasons on Virgin Media.
Eddie has enjoyed three consecutive sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe (2021–2023) and performed at major festivals throughout Ireland and the UK, including All Together Now, the Paddy Power Comedy Festival, the Galway Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival, and Brighton Fringe.
