Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, The Craic Den will deliver you an abundance of laughs all evening.

David McSavage

David McSavage is a self proclaimed national treasure. It has been said he is to comedy what the Abbey is to theatre. Maybe because he believes he’s more important than he is, or that the majority of the country doesn’t care about him.

But unlike the Abbey Theatre, Davids best days aren’t behind him, his intention is for you the audience member to feel “wow that was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen, it was so original, courageous, and yet very flawed. I would really like to be his friend”

A regular guest on TV and radio shows in Ireland for many years, David has also appeared at all the major comedy festivals including the Edinburgh Festival and internationally in Australia, Germany, Japan and Scandinavia. As an actor, this year he features in the film Calvary by John Michael McDonagh starring Brendan Gleeson. His other recent film roles in Traders, Gold and Our Robot Overlords.

The Savage Eye (RTÉ), has been critically acclaimed was nominated for an IFTA award for Best Entertainment Series and Best Director.

Joe Dowlin

Cheeky Dubliner Joe Dowlin burst onto the Irish comedy scene 7 years ago. His madcap, high energy style mixed with a unique skill for storytelling made him popular in all the comedy clubs at home and abroad. Joe has been a finalist in numerous competitions, including Ireland’s Got Comedy Talent at The Laughter Lounge where he is now a regular performer.

He has also graced the stages of Electric Picnic, Galway Comedy Festival, Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, All Together Now and more festivals alongside the likes of Tommy Tiernan, PJ Gallagher, Phill Jupitus and Des Bishop.

Molly Mulshine

Molly Mulshine is a stand-up comedian, writer, and walking hot take with a razor-sharp wit and a knack for calling out life’s absurdities. She’s American, but don’t hold it against her. Molly’s unique brand of humor is beloved by international crowds and millions online. She’s even opened for “Saturday Night Live” alumnus and comedy legend Rich Hall. When she’s not on stage, you can find her co-hosting her popular podcast, Space Trash: Lifestyles of the Rich and Uranus.

John Spillane

Winner of the Irish Stand Up inter varsities, Spillane has performed all over Ireland and the United States, compelling audiences with his high energy and high concept style of comedy.

As a comedian he has performed in some Irelands top festivals such as the Galway Comedy Festival and the Killkenny Cat Laughs as well as some of Americas most prestigious comedy clubs like The Chicago Laugh Factory, Improv Boston, etc. He has also shared the stage with greats from both sides of the pond for instance Hannibal Burress, Joe Rooney, John Collerary and Tom Rhodes.

When he’s not on stage, John is an amateur film maker, with awards from both the 48 hours and Fan Forum film festivals.

“John held a rapt audience in the palm of his hand and lavished us with perfectly dealt love and abuse in equal measure.” Sligo Now
