Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, the Craic Den will deliver you the gift of festive laughs all evening long.
Al Porter
There arenât many Irish comedians that are more controversial than Al Porter. The comedian, actor, pantomime star, writer and radio broadcaster shot to stardom with his hilarious and outrageous stage presence.
By the time he was 22 he sold out the infamous Dublin comedy venue Vicar Street for 3 nights, which no comedian at the time had done that young and that fast.
Porter is currently working again as a comedian after a six year hiatus following allegations of sexual assault. Speaking openly about his drink and drug fuelled 20s to press and onstage with his new sober outlook on life. His new tour show is selling out all over the country and features this week in the Craic Den.
Hector Ayala
HĂŠctor Ayala is a Mexican Stand-Up Comedian from the Barcelona English & Spanish speaking scene, who quickly grew to become one of the local favorites with his highly-energetic, charismatic storytelling and quick-witted crowd work.Â
Aside from previously producing and organizing showcases in Barcelona, he has performed across different European countries such as Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico, amongst others. He regularly hosts several shows around Barcelona, and has had the privilege of sharing stage with stars such as Louis CK, Preacher Lawson & has Opened for the superstar Michelle Wolf, and Irish Icon Kyla Cobbler.
Sharon Mannion
Sharon is an actor, comedian and writer best known for her role as âConceptaâ in the RTE 2 hit comedy, âBridget & Eamonâ and for her work on âRepublic of Tellyâ, as regular roving news reporter and one half of popular duo âThe Receptionistsâ.
She is currently touring nationwide with her self-penned one-woman show âThe Curse of the Button Accordionâ. she also performs improvised comedy weekly with The Dublin Comedy Improv, at the International Bar, Dublin.“Full of humour, warmth, and heart.” The Reviews Hub
Damo ClarkÂ
Irelandâs adopted Aussie Damo Clark has become one of the hottest tickets in comedy clubs and festivals. Winner of the People’s Choice Award at the Edinburgh Fringe, his last solo show toured all over Ireland, the UK, Europe and Australia plus has headlined in America; Boston, Austin and New York City.Â
Clark has featured in Comedy Central’s Damo Does Edinburgh, Irish TV’s Republic of Telly, I Dare Ya, Comedy Central’s Seann Walsh World and wrote and co-starred in Virgin Media’s Craic Den Comedy Club TV series.
