Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, the Craic Den will deliver laughs all evening long.
Richie Bree
Co.Down born Richie has quickly become a staple of the Irish comedy scene as the resident host of Cherry Comedy at Dublin’s iconic Whelan’s venue. Known for his Northern-humour and unique storytelling ability, Richie is a popular presence in comedy venues and festivals all over the country including the Vodafone Comedy Festival and Body & Soul.
Richie went to Edinburgh for the semi-final of the UK’s biggest and best comedy newcomer competition ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ and won the first ever ‘Ireland’s got Comedy Talent’ competition in Ireland’s premier comedy venue the Laughter Lounge. He has supported Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Ted), Milton Jones (Live @ The Apollo) and Ari Shaffir (Netflix/Comedy Central)
Paul Marsh
Paul is a multi-award winning Comedian from Tipperary. He burst onto the Irish comedy scene in 2011 by winning Ireland’s biggest newcomer award, The Capital Comedy Competition and has followed this impressive start up by supporting some of Ireland’s top comedians like Neil Delamere, PJ Gallagher and Karl Spain.
For the past few years Paul has become a regular in the Irish, English & Scottish comedy club scene and festivals. Recently winning Ireland’s Funniest Joke Competition and touring his one man show ‘Joke Detector’ around Ireland and to the Edinburgh Fringe festival.
Paul released a collection of his best gags in his book ‘Irish Dad Jokes’ (2022) and is now available on Amazon.
Sophia Wren
Sophia Wren burst on to the comedy scene and within her first year of performing regularly in Dublin’s Comedy Clubs, she appeared on Whelan’s main Stage for ‘Funny Women’ alongside Justine Stafford and Deirdre O’Kane, opened for top Irish acts such as Killian Sunderman, Karl Spain, Emma Doran, Peter McGann and huge international acts like Fin Taylor. Sophia won Ireland’s biggest comedy competition ‘Show me The funny’ and was a finalist at the prestigious ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ at the Edinburgh Fringe. Last summer saw Sophia perform at many Festivals including the main stage at Paddy Power Comedy Festival and the Comedy Arena at Electric Picnic. Sophia’s first solo show ‘Princess Melancholy’ enjoyed a sold-out 6 night run at Dublin Fringe Festival last September and is due to make its debut at Edinburgh Fringe 2025.
