Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, the Craic Den will deliver laughs all evening long.

Danny O’Brien

Danny has been performing stand-up comedy for over fifteen years, headlining regularly at top comedy clubs and festivals to worldwide audiences.

As the resident host of The Comedy Crunch and The Laughter Lounge, Danny’s comedically experienced, high energy, and anecdotal style draws in an audience and brings on the big laughs with ease!

Following in the footsteps of Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran and Dara Ó Briain – Danny was handpicked to perform as part of the iconic ‘Best of The Edinburgh Fest’ Show across Australia touring Perth World Fringe, Adelaide Fringe Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He was asked back the following two years, making him the only Irish comic to do the tour a record three times.

David McSavage

David McSavage is a self proclaimed national treasure. It has been said he is to comedy what the Abbey is to theatre. Maybe because he believes he’s more important than he is, or that the majority of the country doesn’t care about him.

But unlike the Abbey Theatre, Davids best days aren’t behind him, his intention is for you the audience member to feel “wow that was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen, it was so original, courageous, and yet very flawed. I would really like to be his friend”

A regular guest on TV and radio shows in Ireland for many years, David has also appeared at all the major comedy festivals including the Edinburgh Festival and internationally in Australia, Germany, Japan and Scandinavia. As an actor, this year he features in the film Calvary by John Michael McDonagh starring Brendan Gleeson. His other recent film roles in Traders, Gold and Our Robot Overlords.

The Savage Eye (RTÉ), has been critically acclaimed was nominated for an IFTA award for Best Entertainment Series and Best Director.

Paddy Armas

Paddy Armas. has been doing standup comedy in Dublin for 3 years and has performed at all the major Irish clubs. A winner of the Bray Comedy Festival Inaugural Gong Show, Paddy has also placed as one of the runner ups in last years final of the all Ireland national competition Show Me The Funny. He has done support for Mike Rice. The one liner machine is cocreator and Mc at the weekly pitchfork Comedy. In addition to this he is the winner of inaugural Baileys Laughs Gong show, 2 Stitches Gong Show and the Hapenny comedy competition of 2022. Paddy is known for his crafty Joke writing, performative personality and unique outlook, a viewpoint which has seen him perform in clubs around Ireland and abroad.

Alexa Maghloubi

Getting her start in Los Angeles, Alexa Maghloubi has been making waves in the stand up comedy scene since 2024. Since then she has gone on to play iconic venues such as The Comedy Store, winning multiple Roast Battles through the RBL. She’s recently made her international festival debut at TedFest on the Aran Islands.

As well as stand-up, Alexa also performs improv and sketch comedy with multiple videos going viral online. Fun fact: she was invited to Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch but unfortunately she didn’t get “touched.”

With MC:

Eddie Mullarkey

Eddie Mullarkey is a standout comic, lighting up Ireland’s top comedy clubs and festivals with his cheeky, seductive wit. He’s toured internationally, and had three years in a row of sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe (2021-2024).

As the resident MC at Dublin’s popular The Craic Den, Eddie also hosted The Craic Den Comedy TV Show on Virgin Media for two seasons.

With a mix of observational stand up, crowd work, and storytelling, every one of his shows is a unique experience.
